As part of the multi-year agreement with SNCF Réseau and DuPont™, André Évette and Vincent Breton have carried out a study to test Dupont™ geosynthetic tarpaulins to control knotweed.

Various experiments are being carried out at a site in Chalon-sur-Saône.

The mission, which was partly carried out in Luxembourg with a visit to the factory, enabled them to learn more about DuPont™ products and move the experimentation programme forward. A rail theme day on Japan Day was organised on 18 June 2019 jointly by the 3 partners.
SNCF Réseau is fully funding the studies carried out at its request.
